The Lady Tigers began their play in the LaPlata tournament with Monroe City. Pitching and defense ruled the day as neither team scored until Brashear took a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the 4th. Monroe City tied the game in the 6th, but Brashear scored one more run to claim a 3-2 win. Aubrey Borgmeyer, Lacey Fisher, Mackenzie Baker, Alexa Borgmeyer, and Haley Mcnamar all had hits for Brashear. Alexa Borgmeyer picked up the win, striking out 9.
